As we approach the final week of school, I want to take a moment to thank you for a wonderful year of growth, learning, and community. We’re excited to end the year on a high note with several fun activities planned!
8th graders, we’re proud to host the Moving Up Ceremony, a meaningful milestone as they prepare for high school.

Doors open at 8am and ceremonies begin at 8:30.

Exciting News!! Attention current band, chorus, and orchestra students, as well as any students who are interested in joining one of these ensembles. It is time to start thinking about your musical future. At the Middle School, band, chorus, and orchestra are offered as a year-long graded class during your regular school day! Not to worry if you are in more than one ensemble this year because you will be able to continue in ALL of your ensembles next year.
If your child is currently enrolled in band, chorus, or orchestra and plans to continue, you do not need to do anything because your child’s director will make sure he or she is signed up for the same ensemble(s) next year. If you need to make changes to your child’s Middle School ensemble choice(s) (additions or deletions), please fill out the 2025-2026 MS Music Ensemble Modification form found in the attached parent letter by Friday, April 25th to guarantee the change to your child’s schedule. 2025-2026 MS Music Ensemble Letter If you have any questions, feel free to contact your child’s current music director or me at hagemans@nasdschools.org.
